Praying to the Sky God

I just wanted to draw a tree which had been tendency to turn into green monster if I add leaves.  So the leaves are individually drawn in green black rather than colored in broad strokes of bright green.

From a photo in a Korean book titled 'Puzzles of Our Mythology.' There is a Korean fable story about 2 siblings chased by a tiger and climbed to this nettle tree but the tiger was getting closer. They prayed to the sky god to help them and a rope came from the sky. The tiger also prayed but a rotten rope came instead. The sibling each became sun and moon. The book continued to talk about the motif rope coming from the sky could be found in other countries' myth as well.

In the beginning of the story, the sibling's mother went to a market place to sell rice cakes. On her way home a tiger followed and said "If you give me a rice cake I will not eat you." When she passed one more hill the tiger appeared again and said the same thing. Eventually, the tiger followed 10 hills to claim 10 rice cakes then ate the mother, when there were no more rice cakes.
 
The tiger then looked for her children as well and came to their house. The children were waiting for their mother. The tiger wore the mother's clothes and imitated the mother's voice to call the children outside. The sibling climbed to the big nettle tree and the tiger tried to climb as well but was unable to. Tiger asked, "How did you climb the tree?" The older brother answered, "We used sesame oil to climb." The tiger tried but failed. The younger sister laughed at the tiger and told the truth, "We used the axe to climb." The tiger used the axe and chased them up the tree.

They prayed and saved by the Sky God. The tiger fell from the rotten rope to be landed on the African millet and died. From the tiger's blood the grains of the millet became red.

At first, the brother became the sun and the sister became the moon. But the sister cried afraid of the night so they switched. But then the sister felt shy from all the people looking at her so her light became eye dazzling.
